East Indian design table

The designer’s clients had seen a painting of mine, and insisted that I would know what to do with their entryway table in San Francisco. I was told they were intellectuals, retired professors, and their home was filled with items from India, and to use traditional Indian colors. The repeated patterns used in the Kama Sutra book were the inspiration used to create custom stencils. 

Evidently the owners were elated with the results.
