Faux Marble Table

I painted this table using acrylics. Each color of ‘marble’ was masked and painted separately. I painstakingly applied many thin coats of acrylic varnish which were then wet sanded between coats until a completely smooth feel was accomplished, so the piece felt as smooth as honed marble. It wasn’t quite as cold as marble to the feel, but it was a close second.
